They were always watching

This artwork wasn't planned. As the purple background began to dry, shapes started appearing. The more I looked, the more figures emerged. Instead of painting over them, I painted what I saw.

To me, these figures represent the way trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and fear can change how we see the world. Sometimes our minds notice things that others don't. Under UV light, the silhouettes become even more striking, transforming into glowing forms that seem to step forward from the darkness.
